Active Transformation:Ruins and Architectural Heritage Assessment and Representation
From the opening of Hankou to the rebirth of the old city, architectural heritage that once existed in the form of ruins is gradually reappearing to the public.Based on the aesthetic experience and cultural value theory of ruins,an intrinsic value and usability assessment was conducted, with the Zhaiyage in Wuhan selected as the subject of study.Using a usability assessment weight questionnaire, relevant data were collected and analyzed. The Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process(F-AHP)model and Critic weighting method were then introduced to create a combined judgement matrix for Zhaiyage. Finally,a building heritage evaluation model was constructed based on cloud theory, aiming to explore methods, strategies, and processes for minimizing the loss of heritage value. This approach revitalized usage and created the new from the old.It was hoped that by borrowing lessons from this study,it will provide theoretical significance and practical value for similar research related to architectural heritage conservation.
