Urban Renewal under the Intervention of Cafes:A Case Study of the Old City District of Beijing
In the process of urban renewal in China,with the continuous development of urban gentrification,urban spatial pattern is changing constantly,there are a lot of leisure space and consumption space.As the product of gentrification,these spaces play an indispensable role in the development and vicissitudes of urban space.In this paper,the average nearest neighbor,nuclear density analysis and Gaude POI data are used to analyze the distribution characteristics and intervention modes of cafes in the study area,the results show that:Independent cafes reflect the change of urban renewal patterns;cafes make urban renewal more everydayness;and cafes construct a variety of urban public spaces.
