A Review of the Current State of Research on Urban Color
With the advancement of new urbanization in China,urban color has received increasing attention in the fIelds of urban design and urban aesthetics.The article first traces and defines the concept of urban color,and then focuses on the basis of relevant domestic and foreign papers in the past five years,summarizes the current urban color research into three sections:color research,color perception and evaluation,and color planning and implementation,and expounds its basic views and novel views,respectively.The study found that the current trend of urban color research presents three characteristics:more reliance on advanced technology,increasingly detailed research objects,and focus on the operability of output.Future research can take the relationship between urban color and urban mechanism,visual perception and market elements as a consideration,so as to continuously fill and expand the theoretical scope of urban color,and provide scientific and comprehensive guidance for urban planning practice.
