Research on Renewal Strategies of Small Cities with Self-built Houses as the Main Body:A Case Study of Dao County in Hunan Province
As the link between rural and urban areas,after experiencing the expansion phase of rapid development,small cities have entered the era of stock renewal.Due to the large volume of self-built houses resulting from various reasons and the inapplicability of demolishing old buildings to build new buildings,it is necessary to explore renewal strategies suitable for small cities.Taking Dao County in Hunan Province as an example,this paper begins by analyzing the current predicament of urban renewal,researches spatial strategies and policy strategies,and puts forward strategies such as zoning classification,land use integration,characteristic city construction,strengthening supervision,innovative finance,and independent renewal and summarizes the methods of urban renewal suitable for small cities with self-built houses as the main body,so as to provide a reference for the renewal of the same type of small cities.
