Review and Prospect of Commercial Space Research in Market Towns and Settlements
The commercial space of market towns refers to the area centered on market towns,where commercial and trade activities are the main function.With the acceleration of urbanization and the development of market economy,the role of commercial space in market towns is becoming more and more important in regional economic development.In this paper,according to the historical period in which different scholars selected the research objects,the research on the commercial space of market towns is divided into three stages:ancient market towns,modern market towns and contemporary market towns,and the research on the commercial space of market towns is sorted and categorized from the perspective of economics,historical changes,architecture and planning,and preservation and updating,and the problems and deficiencies existing in the research on the commercial space of market towns are pointed out.It points out the problems and deficiencies in the research on the commercial space of market towns,and puts forward suggestions and prospects from the corresponding research angles,so as to provide references for the future research on the commercialspace of market towns and provide a scientific basis and strong support for their sustainable development.
