Rural Social Capital and Spatial Development based on Children's Well-being:Integration Path and Innovative Practices
This paper conducts a literature review to examine the interplay among child welfare, rural social capital, and rural space.Through a historical analysis of the evolution of rural social capital and rural space in China,it summarizes the patterns of evolution.Subsequently, from the perspective of social capital theory,it proposes an integration path for rural social capital and rural space based on child welfare, illustrated by the case study of the practice in Bairuopu town,Changsha.Theoretical and practical insights suggest that leveraging child welfare as a catalyst, and employing sociological methods in rural spatial development, effectively integrates rural social capital with spatial development. This approach stimulates villagers'initiative, improves rural spatial environment, enhances rural child welfare, and fosters comprehensive rural revitalization.
