The interpretation of classical architecture is helpful to grasp the development context of historical architecture,learn the architectural wisdom of predecessors,and provide valuable guidance and scientific support for modern diversified architectural design and architectural protection.Taking Bangladesh Convention Building as an example,this paper extracts the regional cultural attributes and expressive elements of Bangladesh Convention Building through case analysis,literature research and summary analysis,and carries out commemorative perception analysis of Bangladesh Convention Building from three aspects:Geometric figure,spatial order and light and shadow shaping.It is found that Bangladesh Congress Building mainly expresses its commemorative temperament through the commemorative characteristics of the geometric figure itself,the commemorative prototype of the core space,the quiet and deep atmosphere created by light and shadow,and the regional and cultural attributes.The research results can provide reference for the creation of modern memorial architecture.
