Evaluation of the Spatial Layout of Urban Elderly Care Service Facilities under the Guidance of the Combination of Medical Care and Elderly Care:Taking Xiamen as an Example
The allocation of urban elderly care service facilities under the guidance of the combination of medical care and elderly care has a positive role in promoting the construction of urban elderly health service facility system.Taking Xiamen as an example, this study evaluated the spatial layout of elderly care facilities from three aspects:the spatial density of elderly care facilities, the minimum contact cost of medical care facilities, and the spatial accessibility based on the improved 2SFCA,analyzed the spatial relationship between urban elderly care facilities and medical facilities, and provided spatial suggestions for the implementation of the policy of combining medical care with elderly care. The results show that:(1)The distribution density of elderly care service facilities in Xiamen Island is significantly higher than that in other districts outside the island, and the elderly care service supply capacity in Huli district is the highest;(2)At the urban level, there is a greater opportunity for the elderly care facilities in the island to have spatial contact with medical services, and the space cost of obtaining medical services is small;(3)At the community level, the accessibility of some community elderly care facilities to community medical facilities is low,and the space cost of access to services is high. There are great difficulties in the space of medical and elderly care cooperation at the community level.
