International Cases and Inspiration of Urban Heat Resilience Improvement from the Perspective of Whole-process Disaster Prevention
Under the influence of global warming, cities frequently face the impacts and challenges posed by extreme high temperature events.Enhancing urban heat resilience is an effective approach for addressing urban heat risks. This paper examines planning cases and technical texts from countries such as the United States,Spain,Singapore, and other international organizations. It takes a comprehensive disaster prevention perspective to analyze effective strategies and technical pathways for managing high temperature risks and heatwaves at different stages. The paper summarizes specific measures and urban management methods to enhance urban heat resilience in four aspects:preparation,response,short-term recovery, and long-term adaptation, and reflects on the strategies to improve urban heat resilience in China.
