Exploration of the Territorialization of Non-linear Architecture:Taking Fuzhou Yacht Club as an Example
This project aims to explore the concept of regionalism and the reinterpretation of vernacular elements.By means of nonlinear architecture, comprehensive planning, and landscape design, the yacht club of the Fuzhou Strait Convention and Exhibition Center achieves organic integration and harmonizes with the environment and urban characteristics.Using nonlinear language and parametric design, this paper explores the creative methods and possibilities of the combination of regional and nonlinear architecture from the similarity of nonlinear architecture and regional building typology, the fit between nonlinear architecture and site characteristics and climatic characteristics, and the similarity between the combination of nonlinear building skin components and regional construction methods, highlighting the innovative role of modern design language in regional architecture, proving the integration of regionality, commerciality and consumption, and revealing the modern expression path of diversified local elements.
