A Study on the Mechanism of Spatial Psychological Influence of Side Window Opening Forms based on Visual Perception Theory
Among the interior interface elements, the design of side windows influences the shaping of spatial atmosphere, which determines the quality of architectural space.Users perceive the space under the influence of side windows through vision, forming different behavioral and psychological experiences.Based on the theory of visual perception, this paper carries out visual psychological experiments, uses psychological evaluation methods, quantitatively analyzes the spatial cognitive laws of users, and explores the mechanism of influence of size, aspect ratio and position of side window openings on the visual perception of human beings. It is found that the psychological impact of side window openings on users is related to the combination of their aspect ratios and their positions in the horizontal and vertical directions, and the selection of appropriate side window openings according to spatial attributes is conducive to the shaping of a good spatial atmosphere.
