Research on the Revitalization of Traditional Villages in Southern Fujian from the Perspective of Catalysts:A Case Study of Weitou Village in Fujian Province
Under the background of urban-rural dual pattern,traditional villages in southern Fujian are facing a series of development difficulties such as broken cultural inheritance,damaged features,loose structure,disordered texture,and lack of characteristics,and their protection and rejuvenation need urgent attention.Based on the catalyst theory,this paper selects Weitou village,Jinjing town,Jinjiang city,Fujian province as a case,through field research and open-source data collection,employs methods such as Shannon Diversity analysis,kernel density analysis,and ArcGIS spatial analysis.By applying spatial,functional,and cultural catalysts,it integrates the catalyst theory into the analytical framework for revitalizing traditional southern Fujian villages.The practice of multifunction allocation,optimization of spatial layout and enhancement of cultural recognition aims to provide certain reference for the research and application path of the activation of traditional villages in southern Fujian.
