Process-oriented Evaluation of Urban and Rural Design Courses:Taking Central South University as an Example
With the development of the times and industry transformation,the training of professionals in urban and rural planning has ushered in new developments and challenges,and the teaching of professional courses has put forward new requirements.Based on the new situation of professional development,this paper analyzes the current research results of the curriculum system of urban and rural planning major and the formative evaluation of curriculum assessment.The results show that as an important link in the training of urban and rural planning professionals,the curriculum assessment of"design courses"should strengthen the process assessment and pay attention to the formative evaluation.By combing through the training programs and main design courses of 57 domestic colleges and universities,this paper proposes 7 core design courses for urban and rural planning majors.At the same time,combining the current teaching situation of Central South University,discusses the design course of the formative evaluation principles,curriculum objectives,assessment content,evaluation standards and other contents.New ideas for the teaching assessment and evaluation of urban and rural planning courses,which have important guiding significance for effectively improving the teaching quality of undergraduate education in urban and rural planning majors.
