The Liuhe Tianfei Palace in Taicang,Jiangsu is a unique building that combines the characteristics of Mazu temples in southern Fujian and is closely related to the profound tradition of Mazu worship.This article takes cultural interpretation as the starting point and adopts various methods such as literature research,field research,and chart analysis to comprehensively explore various aspects of the Liuhe Tianfei Palace architectural complex.An in-depth interpretation of the hierarchical system,overall layout,feng shui concepts,architectural decoration and its symbolic significance is aimed at revealing the rich cultural value of Mazu belief behind the architectural form.Through in-depth analysis of its uniqueness,this study aims to present the importance of this architectural heritage in cultural inheritance,in order to better inherit and promote the precious connotation of Mazu belief culture.
