Barcelona,Spain,has been at the forefront of promoting transformative initiatives and advancements in urban public space through its distinctive perspective.This paper examines the revitalization process of public spaces in Barcelona while analyzing the planning strategies employed from micro to macro scales.It encapsulates the evolution of public space planning approaches:transitioning from fragmented updates to comprehensive solutions,and transitioning from singular perspectives to multidimensional explorations in governing these spaces.By delving into Barcelona's practical experiences with public space planning,this study aims to provide valuable insights for advancing urban public space development in China.
