The Feng Shui environmental perspective emphasizes the harmony between natural elements and the layout of geographical space,playing a significant role in the construction of traditional village spaces.Furong village in Zhejiang province exemplifies a Feng Shui ancient village,deeply influenced by Feng Shui principles in site selection,spatial layout,and establishment of spatial order.By examining the historical background,spatial construction,and cultural traditions of Furong village,this study aims to analyze its Feng Shui construction practices and uncover the underlying mechanisms of Feng Shui in ancient villages.This analysis seeks to elucidate the hidden worldview of harmony between heaven and humanity and the cultural psychology of coexistence inherent in Feng Shui environmental views.In the dual context of current urban development and cultural heritage protection,Furong village offers new ideas and insights for modern settlement planning,ancient village preservation and development,and regional cultural advancement.
