Study on the Spatial Morphology of the Ming Dynasty Pingyue Acropolis from the Perspective of Military Defensiveness
Pingyue acropolis is one of the important military bases of the Ming dynasty,and the study of the military history and culture of Pingyue acropolis is of great value and significance to the study of military strategic thought of the Ming dynasty and the military defensive acropolis.The paper applies the theory of military geomorphology and the research method of geography,and combines the current situation of research and related literature as well as the historical background,geographic location and the existing ancient city wall,to study the layout and site selection of Pingyue acropolis from the perspective of military defensiveness,the development and change of the acropolis,the spatial pattern of the acropolis,the spatial structure of the internal streets and lanes,and the characteristics of the buildings,and analyze the historical changes and the characteristics of spatial morphology of Pingyue acropolis,and the application of military combat theory and the site selection and layout methods in mountainous regions during the construction of the fort city provides significant insights,offering valuable reference for future research on fort cities in Guizhou and filling in the gaps in this field.
