Study on Spatial Distribution Characteristics and Causes of Buddhist Activity Sites in China
This article uses data from 34 025 Buddhist activity sites obtained from the National Bureau of Religious Affairs,and uses methods such as nearest neighbor index,Gini coefficient,and kernel density analysis to study the spatial distribution pattern,characteristics,and distribution causes of the three major Buddhist activity sites.This study is of great significance for further understanding the current development status of Buddhism in China and enhancing the research on the development and changes of Buddhist dissemination during the process of Sinicization of Buddhism.
