The Construction and Legacy History of the 743 Mine in Northern Guangdong Province
The uranium mines in northern Guangdong(code names"741""743"and"745")have historic significance in the construction of China's nuclear industry.Taking the 743 mine in Lanhe town,Nanxiong city,Guangdong province as an example,this paper combines documentation and field research to trace the development history of the 743 mine,analyzes the characteristics of the 743 mine in its site selection,planning layout,and architectural remains,summarizes the value features and conservation significance of the 743 mine,with the aim of providing references for the future practice of conservation and utilization.
