Identification and Interpretation of Cultural Landscape Genes of Traditional Settlements in Enshi Prefecture
Based on the theory of cultural landscape genes,this paper takes the relationship between cultural representations of settlements and cultural landscape genes as a clue to identify the cultural landscape genes and interpret the cultural characteristics of cultural landscape genes with 26 typical traditional settlements as objects.In terms of explicit genes,the environment of Enshi Prefecture is in line with the concept of"unity of heaven and man",traditional houses are mainly hammocks with dry-structured structures,and public buildings are characterized as"born in the local area".In terms of recessive genes,Enshi prefecture has rich and diversified folklore such as grass-gathering gongs and drums and camping ceremonies,as well as folk beliefs with national characteristics such as nature worship,totem worship and ancestor worship.Enshi prefecture is characterized by farming culture,trade culture and military culture.It is of some significance to improve the theory of traditional settlement cultural landscape genes and provide data support for the excavation of traditional settlement cultural genes in Enshi.
