Campus Update based on Space Weaving:Research on the Design Strategy of the New Campus of Nantong Vocational University
With the development of modern education concept,the demand of university campus space is increasingly diversified,and the campus renewal has become an important topic.As a design method,spatial weaving optimizes spatial functions with flexible small-scale intervention and progressive updating,providing an adaptable updating scheme.This study uses literature review,case analysis,and practical design verification to sort out the concept and theory of space weaving,and takes the new campus of Nantong Vocational University as an example to analyze the current situation and propose a design strategy based on space weaving,in order to enhance the coherence and versatility of campus space.It is showm that space weaving can significantly improve the structure and function of the campus under the needs of modern educational environment and meet the needs of modern educational environment without large-scale reconstruction.The research provides innovative ideas for the campus renewal and helps to promote the sustainable development of campus space.
