Medication analysis and prescription review on patients after in vitro fertilization-embrvo transfer
Objective To analyze the medication status of patients after in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET),in order to promote clinical rational medication and lay the foundation for developing new pharmaceutical service models.Methods The prescriptions of western medicines and traditional Chinese patent medicines of 513 patients after IVF-ET who came to Hangzhou TCM Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang Chinese Medical University from January to December 2022 were selected and analyzed.Results A total of 1377 outpatient prescriptions were randomly checked,and the most commonly diagnosed of the prescriptions were threatened abortion(47.36%).Other diagnoses included thrombophilia,leukorrheal disease,and autoimmune disease,etc.The most frequently used drugs were antiabortifacient drugs(38.51%),followed by anticoagulants(16.96%)and assisted reproductive drugs(16.87%).The study found that the prescription medication situation was basically reasonable,and unreasonable prescriptions were mainly due to unsuitable indications(2.83%).Conclusion The medication used by patients after IVF-ET in outpatient department of our hospital is basically reasonable.It is recommended to strengthen the training of clinical doctors and pharmacists on rational medication knowledge,and carried out a variety of new models of patient-centered pharmacy services.
