Clinical significance of CPNE1 and ZWILCH in the progression and prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma
Objective To analyze correlation of calcium dependent phospholipid binding protein 1(CPNE1)and ZWILCH expression in the progression and prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma. Methods Cancer tissue and paracancer tissue specimens of 125 patients diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma for the first time in Huzhou Central Hospital from January 2020 to March 2021 were collected. The positive expression of CPNE1 and ZWILCH in lung adenocarcinoma was detected by immunohistochemistry, and difference of its expression in lung adenocarcinoma was analyzed. The survival of lung adenocarcinoma patients was followed up and recorded, the risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients were analyzed, and the efficacy of CPNE1 and ZWILCH in predicting the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma patients was clarified. Results The positive rates of CPNE1 and ZWILCH in lung adenocarcinoma tissues were significantly higher than those in paracancer tissues(P<0.05).The positive rates of CPNE1 and ZWILCH were increased in lung adenocarcinoma patients with stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ,low differentiation, pleural invasion, vascular cancer thrombus, and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).The overall survival rate of patients with CPNE1 and ZWILCH positive expression was significantly lower than that of patients with CPNE1 and ZWILCH negative expression(P<0.05).Cox multivariate analysis showed that per capita monthly income, anemia, hypoalbuminemia, clinical stage, degree of differentiation, nutritional immunity and systemic inflammation indicators, immune function,CPNE1,and ZWILCH were risk factors affecting the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma patients(P<0.05).The area under the curve of CPNE1 combined with ZWILCH predicted the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma patients was 0.934,the sensitivity was 91.09%,and the specificity was 87.89%.Conclusion CPNE1 and ZWILCH expression gradually increase with the progression of lung adenocarcinoma, which are risk factors affecting the survival of patients, and may be used as a reference indicator to predict the prognosis of patients.
