Effect of Photoactivation Disinfection Assistive Treatment in Patients with Combined Periodontal-endodontic Lesions Caused by Deformation Lingual Side Sulcus
Objective:To investigate the effect of photoactivation disinfection assistive treatment in patients with combined periodontal-endodontic lesions caused by deformation lingual side sulcus.Method:A total of 80 patients with patients with combined periodontal-endodontic lesions caused by deformation lingual side sulcus were selected from Shaoguan Stomatological Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022.They were divided into control group of 40 cases and observation group of 40 cases according to random number table method.The control group was given conventional treatment,and the observation group was given photoactivation disinfection assistive treatment on the basis of the control group.The clinical effects,tooth loosening degree,gingival plaque index,gingival sulcus bleeding index and gingival index,and inflammation-related indexes before treatment,6 weeks and 12 weeks after treatment of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 6 weeks and 12 weeks after treatment,the tooth loosening degree,gingival plaque index,gingival sulcus bleeding index and gingival index in the observation group were significantly lower than those before treatment and in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 6 and 12 weeks after treatment,the levels of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor(GM-CSF),macrophage inflammatory protein 1α(MIP-1α),interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in the observation group were significantly lower than those before treatment and in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of photoactivation disinfection assistive treatment in patients with combined periodontal-endodontic lesions caused by deformation lingual side sulcus is better,and it can effectively control the local inflammatory response condition,so its application effect in the patients with combined periodontal-endodontic lesions caused by deformation lingual side sulcus is better.
