Impact of Different CT Imaging Techniques on Results of Coronary Artery CTA Examination
Objective:To investigate the impact of different CT imaging techniques on the results of coronary artery computed tomography angiography(CTA).Method:A total of 120 patients who underwent coronary CTA examination in Changshu NO.2 People's Hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects, the patients were divided into the control group(n=80)and the observation group(n=40)by random number table method according to 2∶1.The control group was given retrospective electrocardiographic gating technology, and the observation group was given prospective electrocardiographic gating technology. The heart rate, scanning time, radiation dose[CT volume dose index(CTDIvol),dose length product(DLP),effective radiation dose(ED)],imaging quality(anatomical structure display,CT value standard range, motion imaging, image texture)and patient comfort(Kolcaba simplified comfort status scale score)were compared between two groups.Result:The heart rate,CTDIvol,DLP and ED in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the scanning time was shorter than that in the control group, the scores of standard range of CT value, exercise angiography, image texture, total score and scores of physiological, psychological, social and environmental were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the retrospective electrocardiographic gating technique, the prospective electrocardiographic gating technique in coronary artery CTA examination has a lower heart rate, scanning time and radiation dose, and it can provide higher image quality and better patient comfort.
