Application of Tubercle Bacillus-T Cell Interferon-γ Release Assays and Tubercle Bacillus Antibody in Patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis
Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of tubercle bacillus-T cell interferon-γ release assays(TB-IGRA)and tubercle bacillus antibody(TB-Ab)in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.Method:A total of 216 patients with suspected pulmonary tuberculosis admitted to the Third People's Hospital of Jingzhou from January to December 2022 were selected, and pathological diagnosis was taken as the"gold standard".According to the presence or absence of pulmonary tuberculosis, the patients were divided into pulmonary tuberculosis group(n=151)and non-pulmonary tuberculosis group(n=65).Fasting venous blood of patients in the morning was collected to detect TB-IGRA and TB-Ab levels respectively, and the positive results of the two indicators were observed and the diagnostic efficacy of different examination methods were compared.Result:The positive detection rates of TB-IGRA and TB-Ab in pulmonary tuberculosis group were higher than those in non-pulmonary tuberculosis group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no there significant differences in the positive predictive value and specificity of diagnosis between TB-IGRA and TB-AB(P>0.05),while the sensitivity and negative predictive value of TB-IGRA were higher than those of TB-AB,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The positive detection rate of TB-IGRA and TB-Ab in>60 years old patients with pulmonary tuberculosis were higher than those in≤60 years old patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of TB-IGRA and TB-Ab in clinical diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis has higher diagnostic efficacy, but the TB-IGRA examination is relatively better, but the positive rate of this examination is easily affected by age factors.
