Application of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention in Elderly Patients with Diabetes Mellitus and Acute Myocardial Infarction
Objective:To study the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus and acute myocardial infarction.Method:A total of 140 elderly patients with diabetes mellitus and acute myocardial infarction in the First People's Hospital of Zhaotong from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the study objects. The patients were divided into two groups by random number table method, with 70 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received routine nursing intervention, and patients in the observation group received comprehensive nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks and observed for 8 weeks. The nursing effect and incidence of comorbidities were compared between the two groups, and the blood glucose level,Seattle angina pectoris score(SAQ),self-rating depression scale(SDS)and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)scores were compared before and after intervention.Result:The total effective rate of observation group was 91.43%,which was higher than 71.43%of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the serum fasting blood glucose(FBG),2 h postprandial blood glucose(2 h PG)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)levels in two groups were decreased, and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the SAQ scores in both groups increased, and the scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of SDS and SAS were decreased in both groups, and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the total incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.71%,which was lower than 24.29%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of comprehensive nursing intervention in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus and acute myocardial infarction can improve the psychological status and reduce the blood sugar level, and improve the quality of life, reduce comorbidities, the nursing effect is significant.
