Effects of Auricular Acupoint Cutaneous Acupuncture Combined with Celecoxib on Pain and Recovery of Joint Function after Knee Arthroplasty
Objective:To investigate the effects of auricular acupoint cutaneous acupuncture combined with Celecoxib on pain improvement and joint function recovery after knee arthroplasty.Method:A total of 83 patients with postoperative knee arthroplasty admitted to the Orthopedics Department of Zhangye People's Hospital Affiliated to Hexi University from November 2021 to November 2022 were selected. They were randomly divided into control group(n=40)and observation group(n=43).The control group was treated with Celecoxib Capsules + basic treatment, and the observation group was treated with auricular acupoint cutaneous acupuncture on the basis of the control group. The first time of getting out of bed,the hospital stays and the condition of relief analgesia(the number of pump pressure and the number of remedial analgesia cases)were recorded in the two groups. The visual analogue scale(VAS)score, hospital for special surgery(HSS)score, tenderness threshold, and serum inflammatory factors[interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]of the two groups before treatment and after 7 d,14 d of treatment were compared.Result:The first time of getting out of bed and the hospital stays in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The number of pump pressure and the number of remedial analgesia cases in the observation group were less than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 7 d,14 d of treatment, the VAS score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 7 d,14 d of treatment, the HSS score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the tenderness thresholds of inner and outer points in both groups were lower than those before treatment, the observation group were higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of TNF-α,CRP and IL-6 in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the above indexes in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Auricular acupoint cutaneous acupuncture combined with Celecoxib has a good effect in patients after knee arthroplasty, which can effectively improve joint motion and reduce the expression of serum inflammatory factors.
