Effect of HeNe Laser Combined with Ultra Short Wave in the Treatment of Patients with Chronic Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective:To explore the effect of HeNe laser combined with ultra short wave in the treatment of patients with chronic knee osteoarthritis.Method:A total of 118 patients with chronic knee osteoarthritis who admitted to Foshan City Nanhai District People's Hospital from June 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects,the patients were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,with 59 cases in each group.Two groups were treated with ultra short wave therapy,the observation group was combined with HeNe laser therapy.The curative effect,knee joint function,pain degree and arthritis index were compared between two groups.Result:The clinical total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the score of hospital for special surgery(HSS)was significantly higher than that in the control group,the scores of pain degree numerical assessment scale(NRS)and arthritis index(WOMAC)were significantly lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:HeNe laser combined with ultra short wave in the treatment of patients with chronic knee osteoarthritis is effective,which can improve knee joint function and relieve pain.
