Effect of Emergency Nursing Combined with Enteral Nutrition Intervention in Elderly Patients with Severe Pneumonia and Its Influence on Nutritional Status
Objective:To investigate the effect of emergency nursing combined with enteral nutrition intervention in elderly patients with severe pneumonia and its influence on nutritional status.Method:A total of 92 elderly patients with severe pneumonia who admitted to Guangzhou First People's Hospital from May 2020 to March 2022 were selected as the study objects, and they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 46 cases in each group. The control group was given routine care, while the observation group was given emergency nursing combined with enteral nutrition intervention on the basis of the control group, two groups were intervened for 14 d.The self-care level, nutritional status, emergency prognosis and satisfaction were compared between two groups.Result:After 14 d of intervention, the scores of each dimension of self-care ability scale(ESCA)and the levels of serum prealbumin(PAB),hemoglobin(Hb)and albumin(ALB)in two groups were higher than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The survival rate and intervention method, service attitude and intervention effect satisfaction of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Emergency nursing combined with enteral nutrition intervention can improve the self-care level of elderly patients with severe pneumonia, help to improve the nutritional status, obtain good emergency prognosis, and have higher nursing satisfaction.
