Effects of Snyder Hope Theory Combined with Emotional Freedom Technique on Patients with Liver Cancer Undergoing Interventional Therapy
Objective:To explore the effects of Snyder hope theory combined with emotional freedom technique(EFT)on patients with liver cancer undergoing interventional therapy.Method:A total of 60 patients with liver cancer undergoing interventional therapy in Macheng People's Hospital from January to December 2022 were selected.They were divided into intervention group and control group according to random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the intervention group was given Snyder hope theory combined with EFT on the basis of control group.Hope level,psychological status,quality of life,coping style before and after nursing and complications were compared between the two groups.Result:After nursing,the score of Herth hope index scale(HHI)increased in both groups,and the HHI score in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,simplfied psychological assessment scale Kessler 10(K10)score decreased in both groups,and K10 score in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the scores of symptoms/side effects,physical function,psychological function and social function were improved in both groups,and the scores of symptoms/side effects,physical function,psychological function and social function in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the scores of avoidance and suppression,surrender,venting and fantasy in the two groups decreased,and the scores of facing increased,the scores of avoidance and suppression,surrender,venting and fantasy in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group,and the scores of facing were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the intervention group was 6.67%(2/30),which was lower than 30.00%(9/30)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Snyder hope theory combined with EFT can improve the hope level of patients with liver cancer undergoing interventional therapy,improve psychological status,improve quality of life,improve coping style,and reduce complications.
