Effect of Problem-oriented and Target-linked Nursing Intervention on the Incidence of Hypoglycemia in Diabetic Mellitus Patients
Objective:To explore the effect of problem-oriented and target-linked nursing intervention on the incidence of hypoglycemia in diabetic mellitus patients.Method:A total of 86 diabetic patients admitted to Taizhou Third People's Hospital from February 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects. The patients were numbered from 01 to 086 by computer method, patients from 01 to 043 were set as the control group(n=43),routine nursing was implemented, and patients from 044 to 086 were set as the observation group(n=43),problem-oriented and target-linked nursing intervention was implemented.Blood glucose level, diabetes self-management behavior and incidence of hypoglycemia were compared between the two groups.Result:Before nursing, there were no significant differences in blood glucose level between the two groups(P>0.05).After nursing, the levels of fasting blood glucose(FBG),2 h postprandial blood glucose(2 h PBG)and glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c)were decreased in both groups, and the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before nursing, there was no significant difference in Summary of Diabetes Self Care Activities(SDSCA)scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After 14 d of nursing,SDSCA scores increased in both groups, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of hypoglycemia in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the nursing of diabetes mellitus patients, the problem guide-target linked nursing intervention can effectively control the blood glucose level, improve the patient's self-care ability, and reduce the incidence of hypoglycemia.
