Analyze the Characteristic of Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potential in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
Objective:To analyze the characteristics of brainstem auditory evoked potential(BAEP)in children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD).Method:A total of 100 children with ASD admitted to Xiamen Xianyue Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the observation group, and 26 healthy children in the same period were selected as the control group. The results of BAEP detection were statistically analyzed.Auditory integration training was carried out in the observation group, the effect of intervention were observed.Result:There were no significant differences between the latency of Ⅰ wave and Ⅲ wave between the two groups(P>0.05),but the latency of Ⅴ wave in the observation group was longer than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the interwave difference value between Ⅰ wave and Ⅲ wave between the two groups(P>0.05),but the interwave difference value between Ⅲ wave and Ⅴ wave,Ⅰ wave and Ⅴ wave in the observation group were greater than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 2 weeks and 1 month after treatment, the autism treatment evaluation checklist(ATEC)score of the abnormal group were lower than those of the non-abnormal group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment and 2 weeks after treatment, the scores of childhood autism rating scale(CARS)in abnormal group were lower than those in non-abnormal group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference value of CARS scores before treatment and 2 weeks after treatment in abnormal group was greater than that in non-abnormal group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:BAEP detection can provide a basis for the diagnosis of ASD children, and the symptoms of children with abnormal BAEP are more significantly improved during auditory integration training.
