Effect of Acupoint Application Combined with Thunder Fire Moxibustion in the Adjuvant Treatment of Elderly Patients with Bronchopneumonia
Objective:To observe and analyze the effect of acupoint application combined with thunder fire moxibustion in the adjuvant treatment of elderly patients with bronchopneumonia.Method:A total of 100 elderly patients with bronchopneumonia who admitted to Nanxishan Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from January 2022 to February 2023 were selected for clinical study,the patients were divided into two groups by single and double number method,50 patients with single number were included in the control group,and 50 patients with double number were included in the observation group.Two groups were treated with atomization inhalation,on this basis,the control group was treated with acupoint application,and the observation group was treated with acupoint application combined with thunder fire moxibustion.The diffusing capacity of lungs for carbon monoxide(DLCO),alveolar ventilation(AV)and diffusion capacity for carbon monoxide per liter of alveolar volume(KCO),the disappearance time of fever,cough,shortness of breath,wheezing and other symptoms,therapeutic effect,serum hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-2(IL-2),interleukin-8(IL-8)and adverse reaction of two groups were compared.Result:After 7 d of treatment,the DLCO,AV and KCO in two groups were higher than those before treatment,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The disappearance time of fever,cough,shortness of breath,and wheezing in the observation group were earlier than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group(96.00%)was higher than that(80.00%)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 7 d of treatment,the levels of hs-CRP,TNF-α,IL-2 and IL-8 in two groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reaction in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of acupoint application combined with thunder fire moxibustion in the treatment of elderly patients with bronchopneumonia is remarkable,which can not only promote the reduction of airway reactivity level,but also relieve their physical discomfort symptoms and reduce the level of inflammatory factors in the body,with high safety.
