Comparison of Therapeutic Effects between Titanium Plate Internal Fixation and Kirschner Wire Closed Reduction External Fixation for Distal Radius Fractures
Objective:To study the effect of titanium plate internal fixation and Kirschner wire closed reduction external fixation in the treatment of distal radius fractures, and to provide a basis for the treatment of distal radius fractures.Method:A total of 80 patients with distal radius fracture diagnosed in Yinan County People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected. They were divided into group A(Kirschner wire closed reduction external fixation)and group B(titanium plate internal fixation)according to different treatment methods, with 40 cases in each group.Operation time, hospital stay, fracture healing time, wrist joint function and fracture reduction quality at 12 months after operation were compared between the two groups.Result:The operation time, hospital stay and fracture healing time in group A were significantly shorter than those in group B,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the excellent and good rate of wrist joint function between the two groups(P>0.05).The palmar inclination angle and ulnar declination angle of group A were significantly higher than those of group B,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in radius height between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of distal radius fracture with Kirschner wire closed reduction external fixation, the operative time, hospital stay and healing time are shortened, and the reduction quality of fracture is higher.
