Clinical Effect and Postoperative Recovery of Small Incision Cataract Manual Nuclear Fragmentation Extraction in the Treatment of Hardcore Cataract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect and postoperative recovery of hardcore cataract treated by small incision cataract manual nuclear fragmentation extraction.Method:A total of 90 patients with hardcore cataract treated in Danyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to February 2023 were selected.According to the treatment plan,the patients were divided into control group and observation group,with 45 cases in each group.The control group was treated with extracapsular cataract extraction,and the observation group was treated with small incision cataract manual nuclear fragmentation extraction.The visual acuity level,corneal astigmatism level,intraocular pressure level,density of corneal endothelial cells and complication rate of the two groups were compared.Result:Before surgery,there was no significant difference in visual acuity level between the two groups(P>0.05).At 1 month and 3 months after surgery,the visual acuity level of observation group were higher than those of control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before surgery,there was no significant difference in corneal astigmatism level between the two groups(P>0.05).At 1 month and 3 months after surgery,the level of corneal astigmatism in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before surgery and 3 months after surgery,there were no significant differences in intraocular pressure between the two groups(P>0.05).After 1 month after surgery,the intraocular pressure level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the density of corneal endothelial cells between the two groups before and 1 month after surgery(P>0.05).At 3 months after surgery,the density of corneal endothelial cells in observation group was higher than that in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Small incision cataract manual nuclear fragmentation extraction for the treatment of hardcore cataract has achieved satisfactory therapeutic effect,and the postoperative visual acuity,intraocular pressure,astigmatism have achieved better recovery effect,and fewer complications,and higher safety.
