Effect of Yangxue Fuzheng Ointment on Prevention and Treatment of Adverse Reactions of Chemotherapy in Postoperative Patients with Ovarian Cancer
Objective:To observe the prevention and treatment effect of Yangxue Fuzheng Ointment on the adverse reactions of chemotherapy in patients with ovarian cancer after operation.Method:A total of 105 patients with ovarian cancer undergoing postoperative chemotherapy admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangnan University from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups according to random number table method.The control group(n=52)was treated with standard chemotherapy regimen,and the observation group(n=53)was treated with Yangxue Fuzheng Ointment on the basis of the control group.Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,tumor marker level,health status and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:After 6 courses of treatment,the scores of fatigue,lack of Qi and no desire to speak,dry mouth and dry throat in two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 courses of treatment,carbohydrate antigen 199(CA199),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)in two groups were lower than those before treatment,and observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 courses of treatment,the Karnofsky function status(KPS)score of the two groups were higher than those before treatment,and the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of leukopenia,neutropenia,nausea and vomiting in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yangxue Fuzheng Ointment has better effect on the prevention and treatment of adverse reactions in patients with ovarian cancer after chemotherapy,and can alleviate symptoms,reduce the level of tumor markers and improve health status.
