Diagnostic Value of Peripheral Blood miR-146a and miR-155 in Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus
Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of microribonucleic acid-146a(miR-146a)and microribonucleic acid-155(miR-155)in type 1 diabetes mellitus.Method:A total of 106 patients with suspected type 1 diabetes mellitus admitted to Taicang Hospital Affiliated to Suzhou University from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects.According to examination results, they were divided into type 1 diabetes group and non-type 1 diabetes group.miR-146a and miR-155 were detected in all patients.General data of all patients were collected. The grouping condition was analyzed. The general data and miR-146a and miR-155 were compared between the non-type 1 diabetes group and the type 1 diabetes group. The risk factors of type 1 diabetes was analyzed. The diagnostic value of miR-146a and miR-155 in type 1 diabetes was analyzed.Result:Among 106 suspected patients with type 1 diabetes,96 had type 1 diabetes. The levels of miR-155 and miR-146a in type 1 diabetes group were lower than those in non-type 1 diabetes group, and the levels of interleukin-17A(IL-17A),γ interferon(IFN-γ)and islet regeneration associated protein 3A(REG3A)were higher than those in non-type 1 diabetes group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).IL-17A,IFN-γ and REG3A were risk factors for type 1 diabetes,miR-146a and miR-155 levels were protective factors for type 1 diabetes(P<0.05).ROC curve results showed that the AUC of miR-146a,miR-155 and combined diagnosis of type 1 diabetes was 0.768,0.775 and 0.801,and the AUC of combined diagnosis was higher than that of single diagnosis. Conclusion:The levels of miR-146a and miR-155 in peripheral blood of patients with type 1 diabetes are abnormal, and the levels of miR-146a and miR-155 are closely related to type 1 diabetes, and the two have important value in the diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, and the combined diagnosis of type 1 diabetes is of higher value.
