Relationship between Epicardial Fat Thickness and Cardiac Function Grading in Diabetic Patients with Chronic Heart Failure
Objective:To investigate the relationship between epicardial fat thickness and cardiac function grading in diabetic patients with chronic heart failure.Method:A total of 108 diabetic patients with chronic heart failure admitted to Suzhou Kowloon Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from January 2018 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and basic data such as epicardial fat thickness and cardiac function grade were collected. The epicardial fat thickness in patients with different cardiac function grades were analyzed, and analyzed the correlation between epicardial fat thickness and cardiac function grades in patients with diabetes and chronic heart failure.Result:The epicardial fat thickness of cardiac function grade Ⅰ patients was lower than that of cardiac function grade Ⅱ,grade Ⅲ and grade Ⅳ patients, the epicardial fat thickness of cardiac function grade Ⅱ patients was lower than that of cardiac function grade Ⅲ and grade Ⅳ patients, the epicardial fat thickness of grade Ⅲ patients was lower than that of grade Ⅳ patients, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that epicardial fat thickness was positively correlated with cardiac function grade in diabetic patients with chronic heart failure(rs=0.697,P<0.001).Conclusion:There is a positive correlation between epicardial fat thickness and cardiac function grading in diabetic patients with chronic heart failure, and epicardial fat thickness has certain guiding significance for cardiac function grading in diabetic patients with chronic heart failure.
