Effects of Roy Adaptation Model Nursing on Stroke Patients with Hemiplegia
Objective:To study the effects of roy adaptation model nursing on stroke patients with hemiplegia.Method:A total of 60 patients with stroke hemiplegia admitted to Xiamen Hong'ai Rehabilitation Hospital from May 2021 to May 2022 were selected.They were divided into control group(n=30)and observation group(n=30)according to random number table method.The control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given Roy adaptation model nursing based on the control group.The self-perceived burden,coping style,self-care ability,self-efficacy before and after nursing and complications were compared between the two groups.Result:After nursing,the self-perceived burden scale(SPBS)score of both groups decreased,and the SPBS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the positive coping score increased and the negative coping score decreased in the two groups,the positive coping score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the negative coping score was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the scores of general self-efficacy scale(GSES)and self-care ability scale(ESCA)were improved in both groups,and the GSES and ESCA scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Roy adaptation mode nursing can effectively improve the self-care ability and self-efficacy level of stroke patients with hemiplegia,reduce the burden of self-perception,enable patients to actively cope with rehabilitation treatment,and reduce the incidence of complications.
