Clinical Effect of Yuxingcao Qinlan Mixture in the Treatment of Acute Tonsillitis in Children
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Yuxingcao Qinlan Mixture in the treatment of acute tonsillitis in children.Method:A total of 96 children with acute tonsillitis treated in the Department of Pediatrics of the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from March 2020 to March 2022 were selected as the study objects.Randomly divide into control group(n=48)and observation group(n=48).The control group was given conventional symptomatic treatment,and the observation group was given Yuxingcao Qinlan Mixture on the basis of the control group.Time indexes,inflammatory factors,immune function before and after treatment,adverse reactions and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.Result:Nasal congestion resolution time,cough resolution time,tonsil congestion resolution time,tonsil pus spot resolution time and fever resolution time in observation group were significantly earlier than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)and C-reactive protein(CRP)were decreased in both groups,and the levels of TNF-α,CRP and IL-6 in observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,CD8+ decreased in both groups,and CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ increased in both groups,CD8+ in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yuxingcao Qinlan Mixture can improve the clinical symptoms of acute tonsillitis in children,reduce inflammation reaction,improve immunity,safety and efficacy are good.
