Effect Analysis of Simvastatin Combined with Amiodarone in Treatment of Elderly Heart Failure Complicated with Atrial Fibrillation
Objective:To investigate the effect of Simvastatin combined with Amiodarone in the treatment of elderly heart failure complicated with atrial fibrillation.Method:A total of 102 elderly patients with heart failure and atrial fibrillation admitted to the Department of Cardiology of the Second People's Hospital of Xining City from August 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects.They were divided into observation group and control group by coin toss,with 51 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Amiodarone monotherapy,and the observation group was treated with Simvastatin on the basis of control group.The laboratory indexes,cardiac function,clinical treatment efficiency,atrial fibrillation relapse rate and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),serum total cholesterol(TC)and low density lipoprotein(LDL-C)between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,CRP and TC in control group were lower than those before treatment,and CRP,TC and LDL-C in observation group were lower than those before treatment and control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and left atrial inner diameter(LAD)between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,LVEF in control group was higher than that before treatment,LVEF in observation group was higher than that before treatment and control group,LAD was lower than that before treatment and control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate and atrial fibrillation recurrence rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 5.88％,which was lower than 11.76％in the control group,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(χ2=1.097,P>0.05).Conclusion:Simvastatin combined with Amiodarone is effective in the treatment of senile heart failure complicated with atrial fibrillation,which can improve the heart function of patients,reduce inflammation,relieve symptoms,and have high safety.
