Effect of Disease Severity on Immune Function in Patients with Acute Cerebrovascular Disease
Objective:To investigate the effect of disease severity on immune function in patients with acute cerebrovascular disease.Method:A total of 106 patients with acute cerebrovascular disease who admitted to Changzhou Geriatric Hospital Affiliated to Soochow University from February 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects, according to the Glasgow coma scale(GCS)was evaluated the severity of patients(total score 3-15 points),they were divided into mild group(13-15 points,n=36),moderate group(9-12 points,n=35),and severe group(3-8 points,n=35).The serum immune function indexes were detected among three groups, and the differences of each index were compared.Result:The levels of immunoglobulin M(IgM),immunoglobulin A(IgA)and immunoglobulin G(IgG)in the mild group were significantly higher than those in the moderate group and the severe group, and which in the moderate group were significantly higher than those in the severe group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the levels of complement C3(C3)and complement C4(C4)in the mild group were significantly lower than those in the moderate group and the severe group, and which in the moderate group were significantly lower than those in the severe group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of CD3+,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the mild group were significantly higher than those in the moderate group and the severe group, and which in the moderate group were significantly higher than those in the severe group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the level of CD8+ in the mild group was significantly lower than those in the moderate group and the severe group, and that in the moderate group was significantly lower than that in the severe group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients with acute cerebrovascular disease have decreased immune function, the immune function of patients with moderate and severe disease are significantly lower than those of patients with mild disease, with the aggravation of disease, the inhibition of immune function is more significant.
