Effect of Narrative Nursing Combined with Baker Cognitive Intervention on Negative Psychology,Sleep Quality,and Subjective Well-being of Prostate Cancer Patients
Objective:To explore the effects of narrative nursing combined with Baker cognitive intervention on negative psychology,sleep quality and subjective well-being of prostate cancer patients.Method:A total of 96 patients with prostate cancer admitted to the Second People's Hospital Affiliated to Three Gorges University from January 2021 to January 2023 were divided into two groups according to random number table method,a total of 7 cases fell off midway,finally,there were 45 cases included in the control group and 44 cases were included in the intervention group.The control group received Baker cognitive intervention,and the intervention group was combined with narrative nursing on the basis of the control group.The scores of symptom checklist-90(SCL-90),Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and general well-being scale(GWB)were compared between the two groups.Result:Before intervention,there were no significant differences in SCL-90 scores,PSQI scores and GWB scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,SCL-90 scores and PSQI scores of both groups were lower than those before intervention,GWB scores were higher than those before intervention,and SCL-90 scores and PSQI scores of intervention group were lower than those in control group,GWB scores were higher than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Narrative nursing combined with Baker cognitive intervention can improve the negative psychology,sleep quality and subjective well-being of prostate cancer patients.
