Effect of Supplemented Xiaoyao Powder on Chronic Atrophic Gastritis with Liver Depression and Spleen Deficiency Type
Objective:To investigate the effect of supplemented Xiaoyao Powder in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)with liver depression and spleen deficiency type.Method:A total of 168 CAG with liver depression and spleen deficiency type patients admitted to the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Second General Hospital of Fuzhou from September 2020 to September 2022 were selected and divided into group A and group B according to different treatment methods,with 84 cases in each group.Group A was treated with conventional western medicine,group B was also treated with supplemented Xiaoyao Powder.The clinical efficacy,gastrointestinal dynamics,extracellular regulated protein kinase(ERK),phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase(p-ERK)levels and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of group B was 86.90%,which was higher than 73.81%of group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of pepsinogen Ⅰ(PG-Ⅰ)/pepsinogen Ⅱ(PG-Ⅱ),gastrin(GAS)and motilin(MOT)in two groups were higher than those before treatment,and those in group B were higher than those in group A,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of ERK and p-ERK in two groups were higher than those before treatment,and those in group B were higher than those in group A,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in group B was 11.90%,which was lower than 14.29%in group A,but there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Supplemented Xiaoyao Powder has a significant effect in the adjuvant treatment of CAG with liver depression and spleen deficiency type,which can improve gastrointestinal dynamics,regulate the levels of ERK and p-ERK,and has high drug safety.
