Effect of Music Intervention Combined with Mindful Breathing Training on MRI Examination in Patients with Claustrophobia
Objective:To explore the effect of music intervention combined with mindful breathing training on magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)examination in patients with claustrophobia.Method:A total of 88 patients diagnosed with claustrophobia and requiring MRI examination in the outpatient department of Changzhou Second People's Hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into 41 cases in each group according to their coming to the hospital. The control group only received routine guided reception, and the observation group received music intervention combined with mindful breathing training before the examination.Heart rate, blood pressure, anxiety, examination cooperation, examination time,MRI image quality and patient satisfaction were evaluated.Result:After intervention, the heart rate and blood pressure of the observation group slowed down, and the heart rate and blood pressure of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the anxiety scores of both groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The examination cooperation of observation group was higher than that of control group, and the examination time was shorter than that of control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of MRI image quality in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of service attitude, communication skills and emergency measures of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Music intervention combined with mindful breathing training has a significant effect on reducing anxiety and fear in patients with claustrophobia during MRI examination.
