Clinical Study of Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets in the Treatment of Gestational Diabetes with Subclinical Hypothyroidism
Objective:To investigate the effect of Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets in the treatment of gestational diabetes with subclinical hypothyroidism and its influence on pregnancy complications.Method:A total of 80 patients with gestational diabetes and subclinical hypothyroidism who admitted to Jingyuan County People's Hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were selected as the research objects,they were divided into the control group and the observation group by computer-generated random number method,with 40 cases in each group.Both groups were given conventional treatment,the control group was treated with Thyroid Tablets,and the observation group was treated with Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets.The thyroid function,blood glucose level,islet function,pregnancy complications and adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Result:Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)level between two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the TSH levels of two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the levels of free tetraiodothyronine(FT4)and free triiodothyronine(FT3)between the two groups(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in fasting blood glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose between two groups before treatment(P>0.05);however,the fasting blood glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose of two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the levels of fasting insulin and fasting C-peptide between two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the levels of fasting insulin and fasting C-peptide in two groups were higher than those before treatment,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of pregnancy complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups during treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:The application of Levothyroxine Sodium Tablet in the treatment of patients with gestational diabetes and subclinical hypothyroidism can improve the thyroid function,improve blood glucose levels and islet function,reduce pregnancy complications.
