Effects of Balloon Dilation Combined with ERCP on Surgery Effect and Complications in Patients with Choledocholithiasis
Objective:To investigate the effect of balloon dilation combined with endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)on the surgery effect and complications of patients with choledocholithiasis.Method:A total of 94 patients with choledocholithiasis admitted to the Department of Gastroenterology of Taizhou People's Hospital from February 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 47 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ERCP combined with endoscopic sphincterotomy(EST),and the observation group was treated with ERCP combined with balloon dilation.Intestinal microecology, sphincter function, surgical indexes and complication rate were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment,Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus were higher than those before treatment,Escherichia coli,Clostridium and Bacteroides were lower than those before treatment, and Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus in observation group were higher than those in control group,Escherichia coli,Clostridium and Bacteroides were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, there was no significant difference in common bile duct pressure between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the sphincter base pressure, peak sphincter systolic pressure and sphincter contraction frequency in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The operation time, jaundice resolution time, abdominal pain relief time, postoperative bed time and hospital stay in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Balloon dilation combined with ERCP can improve the sphincter function and surgical indicators in patients with choledocholithiasis, and reduce the incidence of complications.
