Application Effect of Fire Dragon Cup Therapy Combined with Conventional Treatment in Patients with AECOPD
Objective:To investigate the application effect of Fire Dragon Cup therapy combined with conventional treatment in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Method:A total of 100 patients with AECOPD who hospitalized in Meizhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January to October 2022 were selected as the research objects,according to the actual clinical situation and patients'wishes,they were divided into the treatment group and the control group according to whether they received Fire Dragon Cup treatment,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional treatment,and the treatment group was given Fire Dragon Cup therapy combined with conventional treatment.The symptom scores,blood gas indexes[arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)]before and after treatment,quality of life(ADL)and 6-minute walking test(6 MWT)before treatment,3 months and 6 months after follow-up,and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Result:After treatment,the symptom scores and PaCO2 of two groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,the PaO2 of two groups were higher than those before treatment,and that in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 months and 6 months of follow-up,the ADL scores and 6MWT distances of two groups were higher than those before treatment,after 6 months of follow-up,the indexes of two groups were higher than those after 3 months of follow-up,and those in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups during treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:The effect of Fire Dragon Cup therapy combined with conventional treatment in the treatment of AECOPD is satisfactory,which can alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients,improve blood gas indexes,improve the quality of life and walking ability,and do not increase the incidence of adverse reactions.
