Effect of Myoelectric Biofeedback Therapeutic Apparatus Combined with Bilateral Exercise Training on Patients with Upper Limb Motor Dysfunction after Stroke
Objective:To explore the effect of myoelectric biofeedback therapeutic apparatus combined with bilateral exercise training on patients with upper limb motor dysfunction after stroke.Method:A total of 62 patients with upper limb motor dysfunction after stroke treated in Jiangmen People's Hospital from February 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 31 cases in each group. The control group was given bilateral exercise training, and the observation group was given myoelectric biofeedback therapeutic apparatus combined with bilateral exercise training. The upper limb motor function, daily living ability, wrist extensor integrated electromyography(iEMG)before,at 2 weeks and 4 weeks of intervention, and the motor function grading before and after intervention were compared between the two groups.Result:At 2 and 4 weeks of intervention, the scores of upper limb Fugl-Meyer assessment scale(FMAS)and Barthel index(BI)in both groups were increased, the upper limb FMAS scores and BI scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the rate of grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the rate of grade Ⅴ was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 2 weeks and 4 weeks of intervention, the wrist extensor iEMG was increased in both groups, and the wrist extensor iEMG in observation group was higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The patients with upper limb motor dysfunction after stroke can further enhance their upper limb motor function and improve their ability of daily living by receiving myoelectric biofeedback therapeutic apparatus combined with bilateral exercise training.
